Experience
Wilson has a total of over 20 years experience in the
chemicals and polymers industry. Prior to setting up
Planet Asia in 1995, Wilson had worked for US based
Monsanto Chemical Co. for almost 15 years, of which
the last 5 years was in the capacity as Country Manager
of the Singapore subsidiary with an accountability of
USD 32 million in sales.
During his term of service with Monsanto, Wilson
underwent extensive polymer technical training at Springfield,
MA,USA, Louvre-la-Neuve Belgium, Yokkaichi Japan and
Melbourne Australia.
He also served as Executive Council member of the Singapore
Chemical Industries Council for 4 years and was involved
in the organisation of the ASEAN Chemical Industries
Club Conferences for the years 1993, 1998, 1999 and
2000. He was also involved in the Asia Pacific Responsible
Care 2000 Conference in the capacity of Chairman of
the Publicity sub-committee.
Significant Achievements
Won the Monsanto Master Salesman Award in 1988.
